Sales of new Guy Harvey stainless steel straws benefit ocean conservation
Perfectly aligned with the brand’s ocean sustainability efforts, Guy Harvey, Inc. has released a new collection of reusable stainless steel straw sets in partnership with S.T.E.E.L. Straws, a Cleveland-based company with the mission of saving millions of plastic straws from entering oceansdaily. The straw sets are available at GuyHarvey.com and SteelStraws.info.
Plastic straws have an extraordinarily long life, taking 200 years to biodegrade, compared to a short average usage time of 20 minutes or less. According to S.T.E.E.L. Straws, as many as 500 million plastic straws are used daily, which is enough to wrap around the earth 2.5 times. Plastic straws create pollution during manufacturing, use and disposal, exposing humans to harmful toxic chemicals and killing 100,000 mammals in the sea each year.

All products are made from FDA-approved food-grade safe stainless steel and are conveniently packaged for use on-the-go. The reusable straws are dishwasher safe and come with a bristle cleaner to clean from the inside. All packaging is recyclable and zero single-use plastic is used in production and distribution.
