Upscale neighborhood retail plaza celebrates ribbon cutting of first two buildings When completed project will feature 33,383 square feet of leasable space
Elit, LLC, developer of The Grove at Miramar, recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of the upscale neighborhood plaza’s first two buildings. Located on 5.62 acres at the southeast corner of Miramar Boulevard and Flamingo Road in Miramar, the project now consists of two buildings of16,221sq.ft. and 5,600 sq. ft. The Grove has the opportunity to expand to 33,383square feet.
“We chose to construct each building sequentially so that we could deliver a valuable product in response to anticipated market demands,” said Victor E. Taurizano, broker manager at Novus Realty, LLC and a founding partner of Elit, which developed The Grove with capital partner Miramar Investment Fund, LLC. “Given the lengthy nature of any commercial construction process, we’re holding off on determining the outcome for the final project as it might make more sense to do a ground lease on part of the property as opposed to new construction.”
Elit first broke ground on The Grove at Miramar in June 2018. Tenants include Novus Realty as well as The Learning Experience®, Dent Lounge, Flamingo Road Animal Hospital and Nail & Lash Spa. Domino’s® Pizza will soon be built on an adjacent out-parcel. The Grove at Miramar is represented by Horizon Properties in its transactions.

For the project, Elit enlisted GD Construction, LLC as the builder, Gallo Herbert Architects as the architect, Whinningham & Fradley as the civil engineer, Horizon Properties as the leasing agent and Yates & Company as the land use consultant. Elit is also represented by general contracting firm GDR, LLC.
