New Distribution Days Mean Less Trips for Grab-and-Go Meals
Who/What: Broward County Public Schools has been closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), but the District remains committed to serving the community by offering grab-and-go meals for breakfast and lunch to children and their families at participating school locations. There are 25 elementary schools, 11 middle schools and 15 high schools across Broward County.
Children and their families can pick up multiple meals each during these times in an effort to reduce the number of trips for meals. Children that are not present may still receive meals with valid identification.
Beginning Monday, April 27, meal distribution will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays only from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Families may collect grab-and-go meals, which will be handed out in the bus or car loop as they either drive up or walk up to reduce risk of exposure.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays ONLY, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
