“Stay at Home with the Home Show” DIY Design with Ann Ueno and Sandra Diaz-Velasco

4/16/20

The Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show has added two new DIY demos to its “Stay at Home with the Home Show” social media live series. The social media demos are designed to help give new life to the living space using what is on hand or on a budget.

The series was launched on April 6th with a bedroom organization demo with Alena Capra, host of SoFlo Home Project on WPLG Local 10. Last week, Martin Amado, celebrity designer, TV host/design expert on ION Television, and author of “One-Day Room Makeovers” presented a step-by-step demo on how to make rustic candleholders.

“Stay at Home with the Home Show” broadcasts live each Monday beginning at 7:00 p.m. on the Home Show’s Facebook followed by @FLHomeShows on Instagram. The show’s platform has grown to over 30,000 followers on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter combined and has thousands of email subscribers. Through digital efforts, homeowners can learn and also stay connected with a wide selection of mostly, South Florida based companies that offer everything from security systems and smart home technology, to hurricane protection and home décor and furnishings.

The DIY “recipes” are then posted on the Home Show blog www.homeshows.net/blog and on YouTube.

Upcoming Demos:

Monday, April 20th, 7:00 pm on Facebook and 7:30 p.m. on Instagram (approximate commencement time.)
