House of Hope Creates Amazon Wish List to Help with Supplies for Residents

3/24/20

Like most non-profit organizations, House of Hope has been hit hard by COVID-19. The leading non-profit provider of substance abuse and behavioral health programming in Broward County is asking for the community’s help in assisting men and women in recovery during this difficult time.

With 108 residents and 46 staff members, many supplies are needed to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Among the list of supplies needed are cleaning products, hand sanitizer, underwear, socks, sports bras, body lotion, deodorant, brushes and combos, hair products, body wash, bar soap, pillows and pillowcases, towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes and feminine products. To make it easy for those who wish to donate, an Amazon Wish list has been created with supplies that can be purchased and shipped directly to House of Hope.

Monetary donations of any size will also help with the anticipated budget deficit that House of Hope will face. Donations can be made at houseofhope.org/donate/.

About House of Hope

House of Hope is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the treatment and support of those with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Since 1969, House of Hope/Stepping Stones has provided hope and healing to more than 500 men and women annually, in both a residential and outpatient setting. House of Hope plays a critical role within the continuum of care and provides hope and healing to those with no other alternatives. Many clients would return to homelessness or incarceration without treatment and the skills development needed to support themselves and their families. For more information, visit houseofhope.org.
