In response to Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez’ wish to suspend all events that anticipate attendance over 250 people, Home Show Management Corp., producer of the Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach Home Design and Remodeling Shows has postponed the Miami Home Show that was set to take place from March 27-29, 2020 at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center.
This decision has been made as a result of the recent state of emergency declarations issued by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, in response to the coronavirus threat.
“After closely monitoring recent updates, we understand that postponing the Miami Home Show is in the best interest of the health and safety of our exhibitors, show attendees and all staff and support services involved with the Home Show,” states Adam Kayce, Vice President and Show Director. “These are times of uncertainty for everyone right now, so public safety is our top priority. We want to be confident that we have the best circumstances to produce a trade show that connects our consumers and businesses. In the meantime and until our next show, we will continue to support the industry digitally and showcase some of these businesses to the community on social media and our blog.”
At the beginning of 2020, Home Show Management Corp. announced its expansion to Palm Beach County and will hold its inaugural Palm Beach Home Design and Remodeling Show from May 29-31 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center and return to Miami on Labor Day Weekend (September 4-7) at Mana Wynwood Convention Center.
