Weekend festival is about embracing the art of life!
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – The City of Pembroke Pines is pleased to present the 22nd Annual ArtFest in the Pines on Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, 601 City Center Way.
Families, friends and artists are invited to immerse themselves in the family-friendly ultimate art festival experience and Embrace the Art of Life. The FREE, two-day festival includes artwork by local and national artists, food trucks, pop-up art on the plaza, family-friendly activities, live hands-on art demonstrations, a student art competition, a Family Fun Zone with kids’ art and games and workshops at The Frank Art Gallery for children and adults.
“In its 22nd year, ArtFest in the Pines is a beloved tradition that the City of Pembroke Pines looks forward to each year,” said Mayor Frank C. Ortis. “Art brings people together and this festival is a wonderful way for our vibrant and diverse community to come together and enjoy incredible food, lively music and family-friendly activities while celebrating the arts.”

oThe Nikki Kidd Band: 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. (Jazz/Blues/Funk/Top40)

Activities on the Plaza: pop-up sketch art and pattern design, live art demonstrations, face painting, printmaking, arts & crafts tent, an interactive mural and recreational activities
Workshops in the Lobby: Renaissance Performances, African Dance workshop, Starz Fashion Academy
Activities in the Lobby: a student art competition and Pooches in the Pines adoptions
Workshops at The Frank: Color theory and landscape painting for kids
