Who/What: SOSOS,a nationally-known band that solely bases its music around acoustic root instruments, will be the performing talent at the March 26 Bonnet House Museum & Gardens’ Concert Under the Stars, presented by The Haller Foundation. With Americana, indie, acoustic roots, and folk rock origins, SOSOS incorporates instruments such as upright bass, pump organ, banjo, mandolin, djembe, acoustic guitars, drums, melodica, and even a box of rocks at times. SOSOS is a hometown Fort Lauderdale band.
The March 26 performance is the last of the 2020 Concerts Under the Stars series. The evening will include activities in and around the house, with the concert performance on the tent-covered veranda beneath the moon and stars, rain or shine (seating is provided.) Guests will begin their evening enjoying a complimentary signature cocktail, wine and cheese.
The Concerts Under the Stars series is happening during Bonnet House Museum & Gardens’ 100th anniversary year. One of the oldest homes in South Florida and a popular tourist destination for locals and world-wide visitors alike,the fanciful 35-acre Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is celebrating its 100th anniversary through 2020.
