Rebuilding Together Broward County to Celebrate Women in Construction at “Black Dresses & Blueprints”

Event to Take Place at Broward Center for the Performing Arts

Who/What: Rebuilding Together Broward County, a nonprofit organization that brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low income homeowners, is hosting its inaugural “Black Dresses & Blueprints,” a cocktail reception and awards ceremony celebrating women in the construction industry. The event will recognize outstanding women who are leaders within and have made an impact in the construction industry and their community.

Honorees will include Beth Azor, president and owner of Azor Advisory Services; Debbie Danto, COO and owner of Danto Builders; and Traci Miller, senior vice president and shareholder with Miller Construction. Alexandrea Torti will be honored with the Young Rebuilder Award.

More than 150 guests - including companies and individuals in construction-related industries and focused on housing issues, senior citizens and veterans, including local leaders and influencers - are expected to attend. The fundraising objective of the event is $100,000. Cocktail attire is preferred.

Sponsorships are available and range from $500–$10,000. Current event sponsors are Developer Sponsors JWR Construction, Miller Construction Company; Architect Sponsors Azor Advisory Services, Current Builders, and Durée & Company; Contractor Sponsors MediaLab, and Terranova Corporation; and Superintendent Sponsors Cindy Schutt PR, Florida Palm Construction, Ginsberg Shulman, PL, James The Printer, and US Century Bank.

Parking will be available at the A&E Parking Garage (corner of SW 5th Ave. and SW 2nd St), or at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts valet, both for a charge.
