Who/What: Fort Lauderdale-based Ocean Manor Beach Resort’s Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar, is collecting donations in an effort to aid Bahamian children who have since evacuated the Bahamas as a result of Hurricane Dorian. In exchange for donations, the local bar will offer complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Following the storm, approx. 10,000 children have been evacuated and are now living in shelters and in desperate need of everyday essentials. Items immediately needed include: children’s clothing (underwear, socks and t-shirts); baby supplies (diapers, baby wipes, and baby formula/food); and personal care items (feminine hygiene products, toothbrush/paste kits, toilet paper, soap & shampoo, and sunscreen).

All donations will be shipped to the evacuee children in need.

When: Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, 12 p.m.-6 p.m.
