Mother's Day Bike Tour to YoungArts Set for, Sunday, May 12

On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, celebrate National Bike Month with Dade Heritage Trust and explore urban Miami!

On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, celebrate National Bike Month with Dade Heritage Trust and explore urban Miami!

Participants will ride to the home of the National YoungArts Foundation, at the iconic former Bacardi Buildings (2100 Biscayne Boulevard) and tour these beautiful structures, which were designed in 1963 by Cuban architect, Enrique Guiterrez, and later listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Additionally, participants will be able to view the photography exhibition, “can we be as brave?” currently on display, which showcases the work of 13 YoungArts alumni, who bravely investigate a variety of topics that are connected through multifaceted conversations about family, home and community.

Get to know the beauty and history of Miami! Bring your own bikes or rent a citibike near the DHT offices. Tickets are available at eventbrite or pay on tour day. Tours start at 10 a.m. at Dade Heritage Trust’s headquarters located at 190 SE 12 Terrace, unless otherwise noted. The tours are just $10 or $5 for DHT members.
