Banyan Street Capital, a Miami-based real estate company, and the investment team from New York based EII Realty Corp. (EIIRC) are pleased to announce the formation of Banyan Street Real Estate Funds LLC, which acquired EIIRC’s private real estate business from EII Capital Holding, Inc.
Led by Stuart Mackintosh and Scott Prizer, each with over 25 years of real estate investment experience, BSREF’s investment team will continue to invest in value add and opportunistic strategies through commingled funds, separate accounts, and direct investments. Their managed assets have an aggregate value of approximately $800 million. In 2019, they plan to launch their third value add multifamily fund focused on the sustainable renovation and preservation of affordable rental apartments.
