Mosley, shareholders in the Orlando office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, will serve as presenters at “Strategies for Optimizing Risk Management & Patient Safety in Long Term Care,” on Friday, March 8 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This free, educational workshop is hosted by the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety (FSHRMPS) and will be held at Health Central Hospital in Orlando, FL. • Techniques to effectively manage social media, electronic communications, text messages, and more in the changing arena of communications between families and healthcare providers.
• How to draft and obtain families agreements to arbitration or alternative dispute resolution and tips for enforcement.
• Promoting collaboration between long term care and acute care providers during transitions in patient care.
• Avoiding pitfalls in practice that create litigation exposure and what to do when problems arise.

The FSHRMPS is a state-wide professional development association comprised of members who are health care risk management and patient safety professionals.
