United Way of Broward County’s Women United Presents “Eat. Live. Save. Part III: Save" on TUES. 2/5

Who/What: United Way of Broward County’s Women United - a powerful network of women confronting head-on the most critical issues facing the Broward County community - is presenting the last of its three-part series: “Eat. Live. Save. Part III: Save.” The event will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and brief networking, followed by breakout sessions targeted toward specific age groups from expert speakers regarding financial life stages.

Participants do not need to be a donor of United Way of Broward County’s Women United to attend. The event is open to the public.

Guests may only attend one session from the topics below:

  • “Beyond Philanthropy to Transforming Families,” focusing on transferring wealth and philanthropic ideals onto the next generation. The featured speaker is Avery Tucker Fontaine, head of Strategic Philanthropy, BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
  • “Sandwich Generation,” focusing on women "sandwiched" between caring for elder family members as well as caring for their growing children, and how to continue to reach their financial goals. The featured speaker is Stephanie L. Schneider, P.A., board certified elder law attorney.
  • “Building Your Financial Future,” focusing on women early in their financial careers, and what documents they should have in place, planning for their future, taking charge of their financial goals and much more. The featured speaker is Jennifer Starkey, senior vice president of Broward region TD Bank.
