YAA Hosts Women of Vision Luncheon Celebrating Its 30th Anniversary and YAA’s New Initiative for Children and Adults with Autism

Young At Art Museum will celebrate its 30th anniversary during the annual Women of Vision Luncheon on Wednesday, February 13th beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Young At Art Museum, 751 S.W. 121 Ave. in Davie. This special event will be the official kick-off for Young At Art’s new initiative YAA FOR ALL (Access to Lifelong Learning) in partnership with University of Miami – Nova Southeastern University Center For Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).

Funds raised at this year’s Women of Vision Luncheon will directly benefit YAA FOR ALL (Access to Lifelong Learning) which creates an inclusive, non-judgmental environment for children and adults with autism.

During this year’s luncheon, community leader Jodi Epstein will be recognized for her avid, philanthropic support of the arts and education.Epstein has been an integral part of the team that has led Young At Art Museum to fulfill its mission to strengthen our community through the arts during her long tenure on the board.

Young At Art Museum’s Board MemberMaya Ezratti is the luncheon chair and will serve as emcee.Ezratti has been a champion of the museum and Women of Vision for many years.

“Each year for Women of Vision, we honor a community leader who not only is an ardent supporter of Young At Art Museum but who also demonstrates leadership, vision and passion in the arts and in the community,” said Mindy Shrago, Executive Director/CEO of Young At Art Museum. “Jodi does this with grace and humility. We appreciate that she makes our community a better place to live, work and raise a family.”

Each of the Women of Vision will be presented with a hand-crafted, original piece of sterling silver jewelry created by Young At Art Museum's Artist in Residence Chisseko Kondowe.
