Colada is First to Roll Out CBD Oil Coffee in Fort Lauderdale

12/17/18

Colada Cuban Coffee House and Eatery has announced that it will be the first in Fort Lauderdale to offer CBD oil-infused coffees at its location in the booming Flagler Village neighborhood. Similar to ordering a pump of vanilla or cinnamon flavoring, guests can now opt for the CBD addition to their Cuban coffee for a $2.00 charge.

CBD oil is one of several naturally-occurring compounds derived from industrial hemp and is said to offer various physical benefits, including natural pain, anxiety, migraine and headache relief; healthy sleeping patterns; and reducing symptoms of epilepsy. Served in a liquid form, CBD oil does not change the taste of a cup of coffee. While marijuana and hemp come from the same cannabis plant, hemp has no mind-altering effects and is legal in all 50 states, including Florida.

“The idea of tapping the potential benefits of CBD oil in a cup of authentic Cuban coffee sounds like the best of both worlds,” said Alex Recio, president and founder of Colada. “I am excited to be in the forefront of a trend that may be appealing to growing numbers of people.”

Located in The Manor at 525 N Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, Colada is a family-owned and operated South Florida Cuban coffee house and fast-casual eatery that sticks to its old school roots with a new school twist. Known for its delicious iced café con leches, authentic Cuban sandwiches and a selection of fresh pastries https://www.facebook.com/ColadaHouse , Twitter @ Coladahouse and Instagram @Coladahouse.
