11/1/18

Fisher Potter Hodas, PL,is pleased to announce that Brendon CarringtonVictoria R. Morris and Joshua T. Fordin joined the firm over the past year, nearly doubling the size of a firm known for its trial prowess in high-stakes divorce cases.

Carrington, Morris and Fordin join partners Jeffrey D. Fisher, Zachary R. Potter, and Benjamin T. Hodas in a practice that has been involved in a number of the highest profile divorce and asset recovery trials in the country over the last year—cases involving close to $2 billion in assets.

Potter explained, “The partners of the firm completed more trials, with more in dispute, during the last year alone than many top litigators see in their entire careers. We let the word out that we were ready to grow, but that we would only consider the top associates in the country. We quickly found three individuals who matched our criteria in terms of academics, experience and professionalism who were ready to move from ‘big law’ to a fast-paced trial practice.”

Carrington was formerly a senior attorney at Ropes & Gray, LLP, in Boston. Prior to that, Carrington clerked for the Honorable Patrick Higginbotham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Carrington earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School after completing his bachelor’s degree at Princeton University. Morris was formerly an associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in Washington, DC.
