Ship or Land Operations Agency, Inc., the U.S. division of international marine machinery installer Intec Maritime Offshore, established its second location in the United States at Prologis I-595, a 150,452-square-foot industrial park in Davie.
ProLogis-North Carolina Limited Partnership, represented by Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International Senior Vice President Keith Graves, leased 22,610 square-feet of industrial space to Ship or Land Operations at 7060 W. State Road 84.
Founded in 1983, Intec Maritime Offshore established Ship or Land Operations Agency in South Florida in response to the burgeoning cruise industry. On cruise vessels, Ship or Land Operations installs incinerators, sprinkler systems, galleys, desalination plants, sewage treatment plants and auxiliary engines.
“Ship or Land Operations liked Prologis I-595 in part due to its location and accessibility,” said Graves, who has served as the exclusive leasing agent for the property since 2013. “Located in central Broward County along the I-595/State Road 84 corridor, Prologis I-595 offers close proximity to Port Everglades, which is ranked second among cruise ports worldwide and, with 39 cruise ships, has more homeported cruise ships than any other port.”
In addition to its new Davie location and an existing Fort Lauderdale facility, Intec Maritime Offshore also operates from three locations in Europe including Luxembourg, Germany and Poland.
Prologis I-595 consists of two buildings and features 22-foot ceilings, dock and ramp loading, and immediate access to I-595, I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike.
