Business for the Artsof Broward (BFA) has welcomed six new board members: Steven Greenwald, founder of Steven Greenwald Design Inc.; Jessica Alhalel, senior litigation associate of Greenspoon Marder, LLP; Pamela Sanguino, project manager for Stiles Architectural Group; Chae Haile, founder and president of Funded; Nancy R. Botero, Broward College’s vice president for Advancement and executive director of the Broward College foundation; and Gary Press, chairman of Lifestyle Media Group.
Steven Greenwald is the founder of Steven Greenwald Design Inc., an art gallery, art consultancy and custom picture framing studio in Fort Lauderdale, where he’s been in business and resident for almost 32 years. Greenwald graduated with a degree in architecture from the State University of New York Alfred and has a background in engineering, photography, graphic arts and computer systems.
Jessica Alhalel is a senior litigation associate at Greenspoon Marder, LLP in Fort Lauderdale.Alhalel represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters and actively participates in various aspects of litigation at the trial level. Alhalel was selected as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2013-2016. She graduated from the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta as a Juris Doctor and also has a bachelor’s degree in science and business administration from the University of Florida.
Pamela Sanguino is a project manager for Stiles Architectural Group in Fort Lauderdale, where she’s responsible for designing projects from conception to completion, including programming, design development, space planning, construction document production, and construction administration phases. Sanguino holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture & Urban Design and has 15+ years of experience in the architecture industry. Throughout her 12-year tenure with Stiles Architectural Group, she has completed a wide variety of commercial projects, including office, retail, automotive and warehouse.
Chae Haile is founder and president of Funded, a freelance grant writing company dedicated to assisting nonprofit organizations raise funds to support their efforts. Haile has nearly 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, ranging from direct program services to grant administration. She holds a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in Public and Nonprofit Management from New York University and a B.S. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. She also serves as a grant review panelist for the Broward Cultural Council’s Creative Investment Program, which supports arts-based nonprofits and individual artists throughout the county.
Nancy R. Botero is Broward College’s vice president for Advancement and the executive director of the Broward College foundation. Botero has presented at several national professional development conferences, including workshops for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). She currently serves on several boards and associations at state level and locally, such as the Board of Directors for the Florida College System Foundation, the AvMed Community Advisory Board, and was recently elected to serve as the vice-chair of the Tower Club. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Communication from Florida Atlantic University.
Gary Press, Chairman, Lifestyle Media Group, directs the largest and fastest growing magazine publishing business in South Florida with 12 local publications and a combined readership of over 707,000. Gary launched South Florida Business & Wealth magazine in 2014 attracting over 117,000 C-Suite readers into LMG’s portfolio that extends into the tri-county region. Gary is also CEO of Tribal Business Journal, an economic development publication for Native American Indian executives. In addition to publishing, Gary also own Alternative Revenue Solutions, a company designed to increase market share for its clients. ARS presently works with over 800 companies and has over 90,000 end users. He has over 30 years in the advertising, marketing and publishing industries. He served as President of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber, is an Executive Board member of the Alliance and is a member of the Broward Workshop.
