Real estate private equity firm Elion Partners announced that Managing Partner Juan Roberto DeAngulo has joined Harvard University’s Alumni Real Estate Board.
Founded in 2016, the Board was created by members of Harvard’s real estate alumni network, with a mission to: promote the study of real estate across the University; provide an enhanced experience for students at Harvard studying real estate; and create a beneficial network of alumni working in real estate to foster professional and personal growth. The group features alumni from leading real estate companies and investment firms, including Ares Management, CBRE, and Blackstone.
“At Elion, one of our fundamental beliefs is that smart real estate investing requires treating it like more than just an aggregate asset class. It’s about building and maintaining close relationships with people across all parts of the industry,” said Juan Roberto DeAngulo, Managing Partner of Elion Partners and 2017 graduate of Harvard’s Advanced Management Development Program.
“It will be an honor to work closely with the Board to create dynamic environments for the University’s student body and alumni, while also helping mentor a key talent pipeline to the industry.”
The Board meets biannually and provides mentorship opportunities to the University’s student body through the Harvard Student Real Estate Consortium (HSREC), an organization encompassing all of the University’s real estate industry interest clubs.
