Miami City Self Storage to Hold Grand Opening Event at Pembroke Park Facility

Town officials, business leaders to celebrate developer’s first Broward County location on June 1

On June 1, Miami City Self Storage (MCSS) will celebrate the grand opening of their Pembroke Park facility with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and party that is open to the public. Beginning at 8 a.m., local town officials and business leaders from the Pembroke Park/West Park Chamber of Commerce are planning to attend the event located at the new 1781 South Park Road facility.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, an all-day celebration at the facility will commence, complete with facility tours, a DJ, food, drinks and more.

“As our first self-storage facility to open in Broward County, we are thrilled for town officials and members of the community to come out and celebrate this milestone,” said MCSS Partner Jay Massirman. “We look forward to continuing our growth in Broward and showing people the ease and convenience of our facilities.”

This brand-new Pembroke Park facility includes 795 primarily climate-controlled self-storage units totaling 81,299 rentable square feet. It offers the latest in high-tech amenities including a concierge-style hotel front desk, state-of-the-art security, motion activated cameras, intercoms and sensor lighting. It will be managed by CubeSmart, one of the largest operators of self-storage facilities in the United States.

MCSS currently has seven projects in the pipeline in Miami-Dade and Broward counties and is on track to develop more than 1.5 million square feet in South Florida. They are currently constructing self-storage locations in Pembroke Pines at 18460 Pines Blvd and in Fort Lauderdale at 812 NW First Street.
