MG Developer Launches Pop-up Galleries in Downtown Coral Gables in Celebration of Miracle Mile Streetscape Unveiling

Galleries are part of MG Developer’s continued support for The City Beautiful’s revitalization of arts and culture project

Coral Gables-based MG Developer launched three pop-up art galleries in celebration of Miracle Mile’s ‘Back to Beautiful’ block party on Saturday, April 14. The galleries, which remain open to the public through May 31, were all part of the official unveiling for The City Beautiful’ s Coral Gables Streetscape project that has been long anticipated. Together with the City of Coral Gables, MG Developer has committed to revitalizing the city’s arts and cultural landscape for the long term.

The gallery pop-ups were hosted by prominent international artists and curators, and showcased works by almost 30 artists, providing new spaces for artists to collaborate and create in Coral Gables. Each gallery presented a unique theme with varying aesthetics for discerning guests.

The following galleries are complimentary and open to the public Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM and Fridays – Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM:

CG-Art Visions, 360 Miracle Mile

Adriana Meneses and Oscar Ascanio present works by Jorge Blanco, Muu Blanco, Fran Beaufrand, Calder, Soto, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Anrica Rup, Hester Salazar, Rolando Peña, Zerpabzueta, Nanin, Trushel, Negret, Botero, and Cabeza.

Color Ride, 290 Aragon Avenue

Ninoska Huerta presents works by Carlos Cruz-Diez, Rafael Barrios, Dario Perez-Flores, Lynn Kislak, Michael Douglas, Carlos Estevez, Edward Duval Carrié, Fernanda Debus, Victor Valera, Andres Michelena, and Cristian Eterobic.

Space Traveler, 259 Miracle Mile

MG Developer is currently supporting Coral Gables’ Art in Public Places program, most recently commissioning an original 30’ (w) x 4’ (h) x 8’ (d) stone bench sculpture designed by Roberto Behar & Rosario Marquardt of R & R studios entitled “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” that will decorate Balboa Plaza.

This past February MG Developer launched its Arts & Culture Night series at its latest project, Biltmore Parc. The event featured works by Venezuelan contemporary artists Uaio Antor and Adriana Dorta, who are both a part of the new luxury residential condominium’s impressive rotating art collection.
