Reservations required for two seatings on Friday, March 30 or Saturday, March 31
The spring celebration of Passover starts at sundown on Friday, March 30 and TooJay’s, the restaurant known for its generous servings of homemade New York deli favorites, is offering a traditional holiday menu.
A lean and tender brisket platter, lightly seasoned and freshly roasted chicken, salmon fillet baked to perfection, and baked stuffed atlantic cod are available on the menu for in-restaurant or at-home dining, along with roasted cornish game hen with matzo, fruit stuffing and an apricot glaze. Classic matzo brei is also available on the menu as a breakfast option.
All in-restaurant entrees come with a glass of kosher wine, savory matzo ball soup, gefilte fish or chopped liver, carrot tzimmes, a potato pancake, macaroons and coffee or tea.
Reservations are required for in-restaurant dining at TooJay’s during Passover. Guests can call in advance or make a reservation in person for two seatings at 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 or Saturday, March 31.
Made-from-scratch desserts showcased in TooJay’s famously tempting bakery include almond cake, sponge cake, honey cake, and coconut and chocolate macaroons.
Guests who want to enjoy TooJay’s in the comfort of their own home are encouraged to call in advance and ask about the express pick up options.
