Marshall Dennehey Adds Three Associates to Fort Lauderdale Professional Liability Practice

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation law firm, has added Harry M. (Mike) Leonard, Nicole F. Panico and Aaron D. Silvers as associates in the Professional Liability Department in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Harry M. (Mike) Leonard focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation as well as property litigation. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, he served as the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations for a publicly-held retail company.

Mr. Leonard received his undergraduate degree and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. He earned his juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law where he graduated summa cum laude and ranked first in his class. During this time, he was a member of the Nova Law Review, one of the founding editors of the Online Journal, Chief Justice of Nova’s Moot Court Honor Society, and earned the Book Award for the highest grade in five classes. At graduation, he was awarded the Order of the Barristers for his work in moot court and law review. He is admitted to practice in Florida.

Nicole F. Panico concentrates her practice on insurance coverage and first-party property litigation. She possesses a wide range of first-party claims experience including maters involving hurricane-related storm damage, collapse, vandalism and theft, fire losses and water damage to residential and commercial properties. Prior to joining the firm, she served as the In-house Associate Counsel at a private Florida-based insurance company. Before she began her insurance defense litigation practice, Ms. Panico was an immigration attorney, representing a large nonprofit organization assisting refugees as well as practicing immigration law in the private sector.

Ms. Panico earned her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, her Masters in Spanish Literature from Columbia University, and her juris doctor from University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While in law school, she was a recipient of the Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity Scholarship as well as the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida.

Aaron D. Silvers devotes his practice to representing and defending insurance companies in coverage disputes, bad faith litigation and first-party property defense litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with a firm which focused primarily on defending first-party property damage claims. He is also experienced in litigating auto negligence claims and consumer protection claims in both State and Federal Court.

Mr. Silvers earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and his juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. While attending Nova, he served as the president of the Jewish Law Student Association and was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team. He is admitted to practice in Florida as well as the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
