
Julianna Thomas McCabe
Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Julianna Thomas McCabe, a shareholder in the firm’s Miami office and the chair of the firm’s National Class Actions practice group, received the 2016 Outstanding Contributor Award from Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) at its membership meeting in New York City.
This year’s five honorees are LCJ members who surpass expectations and dedicate an extraordinary effort towards furthering LCJ’s mission, which is to promote excellence and fairness in the civil justice system.
McCabe is being recognized for her contributions to LCJ’s advocacy regarding the proposed amendments to Rule 23, the federal procedural rule governing the certification of class action lawsuits.
“Julianna McCabe has distinguished herself as a Rule 23 and class action expert and LCJ is very pleased to recognize her efforts to improve civil justice,” said Andrea Looney, LCJ’s Executive Director.
