Leadership Broward, in partnership with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, is accepting applications for the 2017 class of Executive Leadership Orientation (ELO) program.
The ELO is a unique opportunity for executives who are new to the community, new to an executive level position or have an interest in learning about South Florida’s assets, issues and institutions and meeting top corporate, civic, social and educational leaders.
The program is tailored to meet the interests of executive leaders of organizations in business, government and non-profit. Participants can expect engaging learning activities that will cover important topics such as current trends and issues facing South Florida and how they affect the community and its businesses, exclusive community experiences, opportunities to network with other community leaders and business executives and how to become increasingly involved in community affairs.
“This program is an extraordinary opportunity for new executives to experience leadership development and learn from top community leaders,” said Marilyn Olivo, ELO Committee chair, and President of MPower Marketing Strategy. “With fresh perspectives from peers and unique learning activities, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to help them grow professionally and excel.”
The Executive Leadership Orientation is limited to 30 top level executives interested in learning in a highly interactive group environment, engaging with a diverse network of decision making leaders and discovering more about the assets of Broward County. The cost is $1,500 per participant. The program dates are:
Wednesday, February 22, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 23, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, March 24, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, April 28, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
