Arnaldo C. Rego Jr.
Carlton Fields is pleased to announce that Arnaldo C. Rego Jr. has joined the firm’s Miami office as an associate. He will practice in the Business Transactions practice group.
Prior to joining the firm, Rego was an associate at Paul Hastings LLP in São Paulo, Brazil where he represented issuers and investment banks in a wide range of international securities offerings such as Rule 144A/Regulation S debt and equity offerings, including FIBRAs. He also advised clients on capital markets transactions and corporate matters with a focus on transactions in Latin America, and specifically in Brazil and Mexico.
Before that, Rego was an associate based in São Paulo for Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP and in New York and São Paulo for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP.
Rego received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was awarded the Vanderbilt Excellence Award in International Arbitral Process. He earned a B.A. in Economics with honors from Boston College. Rego is a member of the New York State Bar. He is a native speaker of Portuguese and is fluent in Spanish.
