Pete Bozetarnik
Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast (JA) is proud to announce recent changes to its Board of Directors, including the appointment of Pete Bozetarnik as new Board Chair.
Mark R. Osherow of Boca Raton, Ryan Thompson of Palm City and Dr. Jean A. Wihbey of Palm Beach Gardens have joined the Board as new members.
Bozetarnik has been a Junior Achievement board member since 2003 and has held the position of Treasurer for several years. He is very active in the schools, teaching JA programs at Palm Beach Gardens High School, Pleasant City Elementary School, Okeeheelee Middle School, Jeaga Middle School and Jerry Thomas Elementary School.
Past-President of the Rotary Club of West Palm Beach and treasurer of the Associated General Contractors of America Florida East Coast Chapter, Bozetarnik is very active in the Palm Beach County community, both through volunteerism and business. In 2012, he and his wife, Kim, founded the certified public accounting firm of Bozetarnik & Company, LLP.
Bozetarnik earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University.

Wihbey. I am confident they will be great additions to the board and will help JA further bring financial literacy programs to students in our community.”
Osherow is Of Counsel for the West Palm Beach-based firm of Broad and Cassel. He is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights, Labor and Employment, Real Estate Litigation, Construction Law and Litigation, Appellate and Corporate and Securities practice groups. He joined the JA board to help improve the lives and opportunities of disadvantaged children and is working on outreach programs through his affiliation with SPBCBA.
Osherow earned his B.A. in Philosophy from University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
Thompson is a vice president and commercial relationship manager for PNC Bank’s Corporate Banking Group in the Florida East Market. In his role, he is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with companies in various industries with revenue greater than $5 million. He joined the JA board to assist with event management and fundraising with an emphasis on the Treasure Coast.
Thompson received a BBA degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
Dr. Wihbey is the vice president of Workforce Development & Provost of Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth. She previously served as Provost of the Palm Beach Gardens campus of PBSC from 2009-2016. Her overall responsibilities are providing leadership and supervision of all areas of campus operations. Dr. Wihbey has a comprehensive and in-depth career in academic leadership, which began in 1992 and which strategically aligns with the mission of JA.
Dr. Wihbey earned her PhD in Educational Psychology from University of Connecticut, her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and her B.A. in Economics from Fairfield University.
