Registration for Fall 2016 Cheerleading - Now Taking Place at Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade

Who/What: Miami area children aged 5 through 15 can “get ready to cheer for football season,” thanks to Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s cheerleading programs. Registration for the fall 2016 season (August – December) is now taking place and will remain open until all spots are filled.

The sports programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade are designed to provide a safe and healthy environment so that children can learn team skills, increase self-esteem, build character, become positive role models, and increase motivation as well as specific skills related to the sport. With training provided by volunteer coaches, sport programs are available during the afternoon to the early evening, and are offered Monday through Friday.

When: Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Gwen Cherry, Northwest, and Kendall Clubs are now holding registration for the cheerleading season starting in August. Register Monday–Friday from 2–7 p.m. at each Club.

Cost:

Gwen Cherry Club: $60 for cheerleading. Fee includes equipment and uniform.

Northwest Club: $60 for cheerleading. Fee includes equipment and uniform.

Kendall Club: $110 for cheerleading. Fee includes equipment and uniform.
