Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced Nikeisha Williams Pryor, an associate in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, has been elected to serve on the Young Lawyers Section Board of Directors for the Broward County Bar Association (BCBA).

The Broward County Bar Association is a non-profit organization serving to educate the citizens of Broward County on their legal rights and to provide necessary legal services to Broward County’s residents. The association also strives to promote professionalism among the Broward County legal community. The Young Lawyers Section supports the association’s mission by contributing to the advancement of attorneys under the age of 36 through professional development opportunities, charity functions and projects.

As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, Pryor assists with a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Pryor served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, where she managed more than 300 cases through various court proceedings, including jury trials.

Active in various community and professional organizations, Pryor also serves as secretary on the Executive Board of the Caribbean Bar Association and as a member of the Bench and Bar Committee of BCBA. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and earned her juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.
