In the hours after the tragic Pulse nightclub attack of June 12th, 2016, LGBTQ leaders in Orlando came together to form The LGBTQ Alliance. The LGBTQ Alliance is unified in support of the LGBTQ community and Hispanic communities and the City of Orlando. The Alliance grieves with the parents, partners, siblings, children and friends who lost their loved ones.
In a spirit of unity and recovery, the LGBTQ Alliance created The HealOrlando Project to help survivors and victims’ families get the help they need.
By visiting HealOrlando.org, community members can seek necessary resources or offer their assistance.
The LGBTQ Alliance and the HealOrlando Project were formally announced on June 18, 2016 at the Orlando City Soccer game in the Orlando Citrus Bowl.
