Moss & Associates and The Related Group celebrated the completion of the external structure of Brickell Heights, a $175 million, 690-unit residential development located in the heart of Brickell and the booming South Miami Avenue corridor.
“We are so pleased with the outcome of this construction and are proud to add this to our growing list of projects in Brickell,” said Project Executive at Moss Jeff Callahan. Moss Executive Vice President Scott Desharnais added, “The Brickell area has seen incredible growth recently, and Moss is ecstatic to be a part of creating the new Miami skyline.”
Arden Karson of Related Group and lead project manager also emphasized the importance of this construction milestone for the city as a whole, saying, “the South Miami Ave corridor is the heart of Brickell, and projects like Brickell Heights are accelerating its transformation. We’re proud to be on the forefront of these exciting changes along with an industry leader such as Moss & Associates.”
The 1,427,375-square-foot project consists of two towers, one 46-stories and the other 49-stories tall. Designed by world-renowned firms Arquitectonica and Rockwell Interior Design, the project will feature a state of the art amenity deck with a media room, social rooms and children’s play room and a 35,000 square-foot, three-story Equinox fitness center, as well as a SoulCycle studio—both a first for downtown Miami. The Related Group also commissioned Argentinean artist Fabian Burgos to design several colorful murals, which will surround the parking podium and be visible throughout the entire Central Brickell area.
Brickell Heights is set to open in January 2017 and is 99% sold out with limited high-floor penthouse units still available. Sales are managed by Related Realty in collaboration with Fortune International.
