Madeleine Romanello
In one of the country’s most active real estate markets, only a comparatively few agents reach star status. Madeleine Romanello, one of the 42,000 members of the Miami Association of Realtors, was ranked 174th in the entire state of Florida for the amount of business she generated in 2015 according toa report from Real Trends, The Wall Street Journal. Earlier this year, she was appointed to the Miami Association of Realtors’ Residential Board of Governors which puts her among their top 100 leaders. Ever dynamic, Madeleine recently took her nearly two decades of experience as a top producer (more than $300 million in sales) to Compass, a young and equally dynamic brokerage which opened its first Miami office last year.

For Madeleine, working well with customers is key to her success. “I talk to my clients to really understand their business or investment background and build a plan around what they want,” says Romanello. “I have been in the marketplace for quite a long time and would say I know residential and commercial real estate in Miami-Dade and Broward County pretty well.”
She works with many real estate investors and second homebuyers looking for various property types in areas including Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, Aventura, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Coconut Grove and Coral Gables.
Her cosmopolitan background is a great asset in relating to Miami’s international clientele. She has lived in West Berlin and London spent time in Greece and traveled extensively in Europe learning to speak several languages. She says her clients, both national and international, tend to be CEO’s, people in the financial industry, entrepreneurs and professionals.
Understanding a lot of the macroeconomics behind the growth in South Florida, combined with research, daily study of the market and tracking trends, work in her favor she says. “I’m constantly available to clients and keep them informed on what’s going on with their property. I'm real and honest and back everything up with data.”
As a star agent, Madeleine has extensive knowledge of the market and local scene, negotiating skills, and experience in working with high-end clients, but most of all she’s proud of her winning attitude. “I work extremely hard, far more than a full-time job.”
