Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade to Host 54th Annual Golf Classic in Memory of Charles “Bebe” Rebozo on Monday, March 15

Event Proceeds to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Youth Development Programs

Who/What: Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade is hosting its54th Annual Golf Classic in Memory of Charles “Bebe” Rebozo on Monday, March 15, 2021. The tournament offers players the chance to play for fun or at a competitive level. Raffle prizes, complimentary lunch and open bar is included with sponsorship packages and the purchase of a foursome.

Proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s many positive programs, including itsafter-school programs, homework assistance, mentoring, computer training, social skills, dance, arts and crafts and summer and athletic programs, for area youth who need them the most. The 54thAnnual Golf Classic is expected to raise significant funds, as its the signature event for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.

Members of the Golf Classic committee are Clint Gulley, Liana De Mena, Willie Ho, Anthony Lopez, Alex Quevedo, Fred Rebozo, Ed Soto, Marc Suarez, Ben Walker and Special Events Chair, Olga Guilarte. Committee members will help steer this popular long-standing Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade fundraiser.

The Golf Classic Presenting Sponsors are Carmen Rebozo Foundation and Publix Super Markets Charities.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the tournament will start at 12 p.m. Lunch and beverages will be available throughout the day.

There is limited space available for foursomes on the day of the tournament. Foursomes can also register for “Play Your Day” for $1,600 before Feb. 15, if purchased after it will be $2,000, where guests can schedule their tee time at the exclusive, members-only Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club any time between March 16, 2021 and March 15, 2022.

The day will conclude with an award ceremony and a raffle draw where guests will enjoy light bites and an open bar. Raffle prizes include hotel and vacation packages, golf aficionado memorabilia and more. All golfers will receive a commemorative golf shirt, umbrella and golf balls. Parking, green fees, cart, range balls and lunch are all complimentary. Guests are asked to adhere to the country club casual dress code or golf attire.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade is following all CDC guidelines including social distancing efforts and mandatory face masks for entry. The organization is monitoring updates from Miami-Dade County and public health officials, and will continue to respond based on their guidelines.

How: Limited space for sponsorship/underwriting opportunities are available, ranging from $1,500 to $10,000. A Tee Hole Sign Sponsorship is available for $250.
