2021 State-Fish Art Contest now accepting entries
The Wildlife Forever Fish Art Contest is proud to recognize the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation for its support of the 2021 Fish Art Contest. The Art of Conservation® inspires young people and this partnership promises to hook youth into fish and fishing. The 2021 State-Fish Art Contest is now open and accepting entries.
The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, founded by Dr. Guy Harvey, funds scientific research and provides field resources to ensure future generations can enjoy and benefit from naturally balanced ocean ecosystems. The Foundation also hosts and supports education programs, such as the Fish Art Contest, aimed at conserving the environment.
In partnership with the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, the 2021 Fish Art Contest will feature the “Guy Harvey Award.” This Award allows young artists to highlight saltwater fish species and shine a spotlight on their critical role in ocean ecosystems. The winner of the 2021 Guy Harvey Award will receive a signed print from artist and scientist Dr. Guy Harvey. More details about the Guy Harvey Award can be found at www.FishArt.org.
Greg Jacoski, Executive Director of the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, stated “The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation is committed to protecting the future of ocean ecosystems. We are proud to partner with the Fish Art Contest to inspire youth to become the next generation of stewards.”
“Guy Harvey is a well-known name in the arts, conservation, and research community. I’m thrilled that we’re working together to encourage and get more youth engaged into fish and fishing through the arts,” said Pat Conzemius, president and CEO of Wildlife Forever.
