Leadership Broward Hosts Virtual Holiday Mixer

11/15/20

In the spirit of keeping it light this holiday season, Leadership Broward has a new take on the ugly Christmas sweater with an ugly holiday hat contest as part of a virtual holiday mixer.

Leadership Broward will ring in the holiday season with a fine wine and cheese tasting, capped by an ugly hat contest during the virtual mixer presented by The Dutton Group on Wednesday, December 16 at 6 p.m. via Zoom.

With the unexpected yearwe’ve all had, we thought everyone could use something a little different and certainly a little fun. Thus, the ugly hat contest was born. The fine wine and cheese just add to the festivities,” said Matthew Korshoff, Leadership Broward Board Chair.

Hosted by Primo Liquors and Fine Wines and presented by Talbott Vineyards and Chef Lenore Nolan, the fine wine and cheese tasting gives guests the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive pairing of delicious wines and cheeses.

Included in the $75 per person ticket price are two bottles of wine and a cheese board. The package must be picked up at one of two Primo Liquors locations, at 700 S. Federal Hwy. in Fort Lauderdale and 4815 SW 148th Ave. in Davie, on Wednesday, December 16.

Prizes will be awarded in the ugly hat contest to the ugliest, weirdest and most creative hats.

Guests can purchase their ticket at leadershipbroward.org/event/wine/and will receive a Zoom invitation to the event in advance. For more information, visit leadershipbroward.org.
