Proceeds from sales of signed limited edition prints by world-renowned artist Cey Adams to support initiative
Business for the Arts Broward (BFA), a not-for-profit organization that brings business leaders together to advocate for arts and culture, has announced the launch of the Spread Love fundraising campaign in partnership with world-renowned artist Cey Adams.Proceeds from sales of signed limited edition prints of Adams’Love mural in Omaha, Neb. will benefit BFA, allowing the organization to continue to expand innovative programming.
Only 100 of the archival 24x18 prints are available from this legendary artist. Priced at $100 each, they can be ordered online at https://business-for-the-arts-of-broward.square.site/s/shop beginning September 1. An optional convenience fee of $150 is available for buyers who wish to purchase framed copies.Additionally, $25 raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win either the first print of the edition (1/100) or an exclusive “artist’s proof” print.
Adams exhibits, lectures and teaches art workshops at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, MoMA, Museum of the City of New York, Atlanta Contemporary Art Center among others. He draws inspiration from 60’s pop art, sign painting, vintage comics and popular culture, and his work focuses on themes including pop culture, brand identity, cultural and community issues.
Adams has also worked with the Urban League of Broward County and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) to engage youth in the afterschool program in a three-day service learning project as the Urban League of Broward County seeks to educate middle school age youth about healthy relationships and the value of protecting themselves against preventable diseases such as HIV.
BFA continuously supports the local arts community and promotes local artists, cultural non-profits and diverse art-related projects. BFA annually hosts several events including the free Arts Mean Business Speaker Series, Art in the Workplace, Art Curation Program, Art & Soul Exhibit, free ART + STROLL event and other initiatives.
