--Miami creative agency beats out national competition to become Agency of Record for Children’s Hospital Foundation in Richmond, VA--
Miami-based Markham and Stein, a full-service advertising and branding company, has won the national pitch for Children’s Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. CHoR is Central Virginia’s only full-service children’s hospital and serves more than 60,000 children each year. Beginning July 1st, 2020, the M&S team will build a full marketing campaign to help raise funds to complete the largest project the foundation has undertaken to date: the construction of a new Children’s Hospital of Richmond, which will be a world-class, state-of-the-art facility and the first of its kind at one location.

The campaign's goal is to raise $100 million for the new facility. In order to reach this goal, M&S will be generating awareness in the community and amongst leading philanthropists through a strategic plan consisting of marketing tactics that include television, billboards, social and digital media, direct mail, print advertising, events and activations. The communication will roll out in phases over the next twelve months and will be focused in the Richmond area.
