Miami serial entrepreneur Kurt Stange, who has created some of South Florida’s most iconic public holiday displays, has now cured a traditional holiday headache with his new Easy Treezy Christmas trees.
Easy Treezy is a pre-lit and/or fully pre-decorated Christmas tree that assembles in mere seconds with new technology developed by Stange and his team of designers based in Miami Gardens.
The innovative cone infrastructure allows the fully lit and decorated tree to lay flat for fast and easy assembly, disassembly and storage. This technology also makes Easy Treezy lightweight, environmentally-friendly, and safer for pets and children (no tipping over and hypoallergenic).

This consumer idea came to Stange as an evolution to systems developed by his Miami Christmas Lights company, which designs, fabricates and installs some of the region’s most well-known holidays displays. These include the 40-foot wreath at 600 Brickell, the 50-foot tree and synchronized musical plaza at Gulfstream and the family of sand/snow people that welcome visitors to Fort Lauderdale Beach during the holidays.
“People would watch our installations and ask ‘where can we buy something like that?’ for their own homes,” Stange said. “It was a very challenging, but exciting process, and now they can with Easy Treezy.”
Easy Treezy is available at EasyTreezy.com, Amazon.com and online with numerous leading gift and décor outlets such as Wayfair, BJs and Catherine Zeta-Jones designer edition was featured on the QVC network.

Since the celebrity exposure on QVC, sales have begun to spike beyond “early adopters.” Stange projects a big 2109 with the new major retail partners, and massive leap in 2020 with multiple products and accessories.
He credits much of his company’s success to support from Entrepreneurs’ Organization – South Florida, a group with 190 members who run businesses with $2 billion in annual revenues and 10,000 employees in the region. Stange currently employs 25 year-round staff plus 25 seasonal employees out of his 18,000-square-foot Miami Gardens facility.
“It’s not merely having a network of like-minded, ambitious people, it’s their guidance and willingness to help that’s phenomenal,” Stange said. It was a global EO connection that helped his company navigate the complicated Chinese manufacturing process for Easy Treezy. “Receiving great advice that you know you can trust is so valuable for any business. Without this support and expertise from EO, I don’t know if Easy Treezy happens.”
Stange has been an EO member since 2008 when he sold an apparel company and founded Miami Christmas Lights.
“Kurt has made sunny South Florida, of all places, a hub for Christmas tree decoration, innovation and entrepreneurship,” said Jerry Katz, president of EO SOFLO and Premier Protection Insurance. “That’s the core spirit of creativity that shines bright in EO, just like the sparkle from one of Kurt’s trees. We hope Easy Treezy trees are lighting up living rooms everywhere soon.”
