Final Funding Protocol and Application Information for Stoneman Douglas Victims' Fund Now Available

The Final Protocol and application information for the Stoneman Douglas Victims’ Fund is available through May at https://www.gofundme.com/stonemandouglasvictimsfundconcludes on June 30. Corporate or personal check donations designated in the memo line for the “Stoneman Douglas Fund” also can be sent directly to Broward Education Foundation, 600 SE 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.

“We will distribute the funds to victims and families in July and will be administering these funds in a way that is fair, transparent and victim focused,” said Christina Fischer, Broward Education Foundation Board Chair. “We will continue our fundraising efforts through June to be able to provide the greatest amount of help possible to the largest number of people.”

Victims and their families will receive 100 percent of the donations made to the Stoneman Douglas Victims’ Fund.

“These gifts are given to victims without any restriction on their use and the

Fund is one part of an ongoing continuum of care in response to this tragedy,” said Shea Ciriago, executive director of Broward Education Foundation. “We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming support of the individuals, businesses and foundations in our community and beyond.
