David W. Henry to Discuss Mediation Issues at Upcoming Orange County Bar Association Event

David W. Henry, a shareholder in the Orlando office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, will co-present a mediation seminar for the Orange County Bar Association’s ADR Committee on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 9am to noon at the Orange County Bar Association office in Orlando, Fla. The presentation, titled “The Next To Last Mediation Seminar You Will Ever Need,” will be devoted to mediation advocacy, best practices and ethics.

This seminar is open to attorneys, claims professionals, mediators and anyone who is involved in mediations. Along with his co-presenters, Mr. Henry will debunk mediation myths and suggest improvements to the unexamined habits and practices, and offer suggestions for optimizing the mediation process. Additionally, the presentation will cover overlooked rules, innovative strategies, contrarian view points and a host of topics for experienced litigators looking to use mediation to resolve cases.

Proceeds from this seminar will go to Elevate Orlando, a civic nonprofit dedicated to equipping and empowering underserved youth to graduate with a plan for the future.

Mr. Henry is a member of the Executive Council of the ADR Section of The Florida Bar and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil and Appellate Mediator. He serves as a civil mediator for business litigation, corporate disputes, construction-related litigation, professional and fiduciary liability, as well as real estate, insurance coverage and personal injury claims. Additionally, he is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an association of ADR professionals distinguished by their hands-on experience in the field of civil and commercial conflict resolution.

Mr. Henry graduated from Emory University and received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
