Broward Partnership Hosts “Nash Bash” 19th Annual Salute to Leadership Gala

Proceeds help Broward’s homeless rebuild their lives

The Broward Partnership brings “Nash-Vegas” to South Florida on Friday May 18th at its 19th Annual Salute to Leadership Gala. More than 350 influential business and community leaders will be treated to an evening filled with the urban country tastes and sounds of Music City USA. The “Nash Bash” gets underway at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at the Signature Grand, 6900 State Road 84 in Davie.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest “country glam,” and will kick off their evening with a cocktail reception while bidding on incredible silent and super auction items. The shindig continues with a delicious dinner featuring Nashville’s finest cuisine, after which guests will be encouraged to boot-scoot, two-step or line dance the evening away. The Gala will also contain an awards presentation where the Partnership will recognize this year’s class of outstanding advocates.

Comerica Bank will be presented with the Corporate Trusteeship Award, recognizing the organization for its generous financial and support that has made a positive impact on the lives of persons experiencing homelessness served by the Partnership. The Mary Jane Harlow Charitable Trust will be honored with the Foundation Trusteeship Award for its extensive history of financial and in-kind contributions that have helped further the Partnership’s work and mission. The Broward Partnership Leadership Award will be presented to Claudette Bruck, who is a founding member of the Partnership’s Board of Directors. 

The Honorary Chair of the 2018 Gala is Dodie Keith-Lazowick, who also serves as Partnership’s Board Chair. Members of the Gala’s Host Committee include Elliot P. Proceeds from the event will assist the Partnership in operating the 230-bed Central Homeless Assistance Center on the Huizenga Campus, which serves more than 1,400 men, women and children experiencing homelessness each year. In addition to supportive housing services, the Partnership offers safe shelter, nutritious meals, wrap-around case management and comprehensive services, such as access to medical and dental care, behavioral health, workforce development, family therapy and others that assist persons experiencing homelessness in reacquiring health, housing and employment as quickly as possible.
