~ BankUnited and Miami HEAT team up to help send South Florida students to college ~
High school seniors in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe counties can apply today to the Miami HEAT Scholarships program presented by BankUnited. Five winners will be selected to receive a $5,000 college scholarship, which will be awarded during halftime of the April 11th game.
Now in its 22nd year, the Miami HEAT Scholarships awards $25,000 annually to students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance, exceptional community service and financial need.

Scholarships are awarded in the following categories:
Three (3) $5,000 HEAT Scholarships
One (1) $5,000 Dr. Jack Ramsay Scholarship
One (1) $5,000 Alec Kessler Student-Athlete Scholarship
Applications must be postmarked by January 27, 2018, and are available online at http://www.nba.com/heat/community/community_education_scholarships.html.
