This year Palmer Trinity School (PTS) students collected more than 800 toys and gift cards benefitting children and families assisted at Chapman Partnership’s Homestead facility. Chapman Partnership houses a total of 800 residents at two facilities in downtown Miami and Homestead, and offer all the resources needed to assist motivated homeless residents, including families, to become self-sufficient.

In addition to the successful toy drive, fifteen PTS students volunteered to put on a holiday dinner for these families in need. The students served an Italian feast, generously provided by the Lombardo family, to 300 residents at the shelter. The night’s festivities also included a beautiful dessert station, a visit with Santa Claus, holiday arts and crafts, and caroling.
