Eating right and staying fit is the theme of the Grand Opening celebration for Delicious Raw juice bar with festivities over President’s Day weekend February 17-20 that includes a fundraiser for the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Nova Southeastern University.
Located at Tower Shops, 2276 S University Drive, Delicious Raw will donate a portion of proceeds over the four days to the NSU soccer teams.
On Sunday, February 19 at 3 p.m., NSU’s soccer teams will perform training drills and lead workouts for kids outside the restaurant. At 4 p.m., team members will talk about how playing sports has changed their lives and why they think it's important to incorporate sports into daily life.
On Monday, February 20 at 10 a.m., local mom blogger Nataly Ezar will host a "Mom Coffee Hour" where she will discuss the benefits of eliminating processed food and sugar and how to incorporate healthier snacks that kids will love into their daily routine. From 3 to 6 p.m. kid size Acai, Fruit & Yogurt and Health Bowls are free with the purchase of a regular sized bowl.
During the entire weekend, all guests can enter to win great prizes by checking in on Facebook at /deliciousrawjuices or by posting a picture on Instagram deliciousraw and tagging it with #DeliciousRawGiveAway. The grand prize is a $250 Prize Pack that includes tickets to upcoming NSU sporting events, Delicious Raw gift cards, Purium products and a “five pack” of rides from neighboring indoor cycling facility CYCLEBAR. Other prizes include three-day meal plans and Delicious Raw gift cards.
