Registration Now Open For 2017 Women’s Collective Giving Grantmaker’s Network Leadership Forum In Atlantic Beach

1/23/17

The Women’s Giving Alliance (WGA), an initiative of The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida is hosting the 2017 Women’s Collective Giving Grantmaker’s Network (WCGN) National Leadership Forum from March 12 to 14, 2017. Registration for the full conference and for a la carte events is now open.

The Women’s Giving Alliance is a giving circle, where members contribute individually but make grants collectively. Each member represents a link in an ever-growing chain that enables Women’s Giving Alliance to achieve far more together than its members could accomplish on their own. This investment allows members to participate in two forms of philanthropy—collective grantmaking and endowment building. Since its inception, members of the Women’s Giving Alliance have made more than $4.9 million in grants and built an endowment of more than $2.8 million.

This 6th conference, “Women Together Making Waves,” will celebrate women-powered giving with peers from around the nation. WCGN has secured an outstanding lineup of speakers. The keynote speaker is Jackie Bezos, president, Bezos Family Foundation. Teresa C. Younger, president and CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women, has also been confirmed as a speaker. WCGN has secured an outstanding lineup of plenary speakers.
