The online application for media credentials for the 2016 Boca Raton Bowl on December 20, 2016 is now open. Accredited media can access the credential application by clicking here and following the link to the Boca Raton Bowl credential application page.
Accredited media should only complete the online credential application at this time if they will cover the 2016 Boca Raton Bowl regardless of the participating teams. Accredited media that will be covering the game only if the team they cover is playing in the 2016 Boca Raton Bowl should wait until the teams are announced on Sunday, December 4. The deadline for applications for all media outlets is Tuesday, December 12, 2016.
Sports editors/directors and/or photography editors need only complete ONE APPLICATION PER MEDIA AGENCY. They can request working media credentials for all members of their agency in a single application. When submitting the application, the sports editor/director and/or photography editor should list him/herself as the “contact” and register media members assigned to cover the 2016 Boca Raton Bowl as “attendees.” If acquiring credentials for him/herself, the “contact” will need to be added as an attendee as well. Sports editors/directors and/or photo editors will also need to register the organization’s name, type and contact information.
Information on how to reserve rooms at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center is also available during the registration process. The special discounted rate of $149 per night plus tax, includes in-room internet and access to the onsite media work room. If hotel information changes, approved applicants will be notified.
The Boca Raton Bowl is affiliated with the American Athletic Conference, Conference USA and Mid-American Conference. The 2016 Boca Raton Bowl will be played on Tuesday, December 20, at 7 p.m. at FAU Stadium, on the campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. It will be televised nationally on ESPN and carried on ESPN Radio, including ESPN 106.3 locally.
