Rating is an achievement that only 1% of U.S. nonprofits receive.
Charity Navigator recently awarded Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches their tenth consecutive 4-star rating for demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency. Only 1% of the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator have received at least 10 consecutive 4-star evaluations—the highest possible rating—indicating that Adopt-A-Family outperforms most other charities in America. Charity Navigator stated that Adopt-A-Family is one of only four nonprofits in the State of Florida to achieve this distinction.
“This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets Adopt-A-Family apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness,” stated Michael Thatcher, President and CEO of Charity Navigator.
Charity Navigator is the nation's largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities. The organization uses an unbiased, objective, numbers-based rating system to assess over 8,000 of America's best-known and some lesser known, but worthy, charities.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment by our entire team,” said Matthew Constantine, CEO of Adopt-A-Family. “It speaks to our relentless commitment year-after-year to ensure that every dollar donated to our organization is used responsibly to restore families in crisis to stability and self-sufficiency.”
