At the Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show, there are many things to help South Floridians improve their home. Local Chefs are offering demonstrations and tasty samples Labor Day Weekend at the Miami Beach Convention Center, from September 2-6, 2016. The demos are designed to help people adapt recipes and tips from the pros and improve the dining experience at home.
“The Home Design and Remodeling Show’s Culinary Experience Cooking Stage aims to use locally sourced foods, promote a healthy lifestyle, and showcase the diverse talents and tastes of South Florida’s finest private and corporate chefs,” comments Adam Kayce, Show Director. “We aim to be the premier source in home improvement – not just for products and services, but as a place to learn, ask questions, and be inspired!”
A special addition to the line-up includes the “Chef Spotlight” presented by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. Included in the price of admission, show-goers will take delight in meeting celebrity, executive chefs: Paolo Dorigato of Dolce Italian (winner of Bravo TV’s Best New Restaurant); Joshua Wahler, co-owner of BORN FOODY and Hell’s Kitchen Alum; Miguel Antonio Gomez Fernández of Pisco y Nazca; and Miguel Rebolledo of Bulla Gastrobar Doral.
Following a “sell-out” stint at the Fort Lauderdale Home Show on Memorial Day Weekend, Chef Robyn Almodovar of Palate Party joins the Miami Home Show promising a “party in your mouth!” Almodovar is both a Food Network’s CHOPPED and Cut Throat Kitchen winner.
Also joining the line-up are chefs Myriam “Chef Mimi” Charles of Lux Cakery, Patty Ruiz of The Mad Table; Autumn Brucato of Heal with Autumn; and Paulette Bilsky, private chef and the Home Show’s Cooking Stage Coordinator. The culinary feature is partially sponsored by Milam’s Market and ElectriChef.
Along with daily cooking shows, daily admission to the Miami Home Show includes seminars by Matt Muenster of HGTV’s Bath Crashers (Sunday September 4th and Labor Day); complimentary consultations with Interior Designers who will create room vignettes dedicated to South Florida news journalists; “At Home with Art” art exhibit and artist encounter; and consumer protection seminars by Local 10 News Reporter, Christina Vazquez (Saturday, September 3rd.)
