Perez Art Museum Miami | 1103 Biscayne Boulevard

Biscayne Bay Boulevard's Perez Art Museum Miami may not have the name recognition of some of its New York or Los Angeles-based counterparts, but its exhibitions are no less noteworthy. The Rubell Family Collection began in New York City just over half a century ago, before moving to Miami in the early 1990s. In 1993, the Rubell Family Collection reopened in Florida, turning a former DEA facility into 45,000-square-feet of gallery and exhibition space that now houses work from masters like Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama, Kara Walker, and Keith Haring.

Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation | 1018 North Miami Avenue

The Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation has committed to bringing dynamic pieces from well-respected artists to Miami, as well as providing space for greener creators to show their work as part of the CIFO Collection program. The museum continues to update its collection on a regular basis, focusing in particular on the expansion of photography, video installation, and Latin American art.

Margulies Collection | 591 NW 27th Street

The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse is among the most diverse arts spaces in Miami, exhibiting photography, painting, sculpture, and installation art from around the globe in its 45,000-square-foot Wynwood location. From Donald Judd to de Kooning, Frank Stella to Serra, the non-profit Margulies Collection embraces great art in its many forms and is committed to providing arts education to the public, offering tours and lecture series throughout the year.
